Here is how to check on-page SEO or optimize an article:

Title Optimization:

  • Include the primary keyword in the title.
  • Ensure the title is descriptive and satisfies user intent.

Description Optimization:

  • Add the primary keyword in the meta description.
  • Provide a complete and relevant description of the article.

Keyword Usage:

  • Use the primary keyword naturally within the content.
  • Maintain around 2% keyword density; avoid keyword stuffing.

Headings:

  • Incorporate relevant keywords in headings.
  • Ensure headings break the article into readable sections.

Image Alt Text:

  • Use relevant keywords in the alt text.
  • Avoid keyword stuffing; ensure alt text describes the image accurately.

Anchor Text:

  • Use main keywords in anchor text for internal and external links.

Keyword Placement:

  • Include the primary keyword at the beginning and end of the article.
  • Distribute keywords naturally throughout the content.

Semantic SEO:

  • Utilize attributes relevant to the topic (e.g., company names, products).
  • Enhance semantic understanding by including related terms and context.

URL Structure:

  • Use important and meaningful words in the URL.
  • Ensure the URL is concise and reflects the content’s focus.
